Pick a restaurant without creating an account.

On your device

SpotPick stores your last-used display name, disabled restaurant types, optional default search location and a private room reconnection credential in browser storage. Clearing site data removes these. Individual selections stay in memory and disappear when you close or refresh the app.

Your location

Location access is optional and only requested when you choose “Use my current location”. You can choose a listed area instead. In a solo session the search centre stays on your device. When you host a group, your selected centre and radius are sent to the room server and are visible to other room participants. Choose a public meeting point if you do not want to share your current location.

Group rooms

Cloudflare processes the room code, display names, chosen search area, preferences and restaurant votes to run the session. Other participants can see names, completion status, the shared search area and final results, including who voted for each restaurant after voting ends. Individual restaurant votes are not revealed during voting. Private reconnection credentials are never shared with participants. Room data expires after 24 hours.

Hosting and external sites

Cloudflare serves the app and processes network information needed for security, rate limiting and delivery. SpotPick adds no advertising or analytics scripts. Expanding a restaurant with a credited venue photo loads that image from Wikimedia, which receives the network request. Restaurant and map links leave SpotPick; those sites have their own policies. The restaurant directory comes from Overture Maps and public venue website checks; it is not personal visitor tracking.
